| If rocket after rocket entered ANY other country the concern for the civilians in the area from where the rockets were fired would be negligable. Their deaths and injuries would be viewed as the tragic result of living in a place that fires rockets on others. ONLY Israel has to both worry about enemies sworn to it`s destruction and give them power, petrol, and water. Then if Israel fights back it has to face condemnation from that same world. The message of the UN, Europe and factions of the USA (eg Ms. Rice) is that Jews and Israel are expendable. Enough is enough. We need to actually finish this and win the war not just a battle. How we do it and what that means in terms of long term effects on the Palestinians is beyond me. I just hope they sue for peace and volunteer to exile the Hamas militants. |
