Try reading the more recent Nietzsche/Heidegger analysis of Richard Wolin. The "uberman" as a symbol of self-overcoming? Throughout Nietzsche`s works there is but one political example of the uberman: Napolean. Heidegger, following Nietzsche, accepted Hitler as the uberman of his day. Oh yeah. That`s right.
