I don`t have the compulsion to run to a copy of the Torah, but, going by what`s written above, the writer is garbling a little. There is NO mention of "voices" but merely a single voice, the voice of a HORN, not a VOICE voice. So it`s far-fetched to use THAT "voice" mention for his theory. His own experiences are a bit more logical, but not out of the ordinary for any hallucinatory drug user.
These concepts were discussed in Frazer`s Golden Bough about 100 years ago, but considering what the Torah is, I wouldn`t bet that the professor is right. |
