| The synagogue where my family belongs in Houston, Texas, is now surrounded by a steel fence, and Houston police officers are visible during worship services and other activities when there is a crowd of people inside. A security fee is added to our synagogue dues each year, and Israelis had better wake up to the real situation. The hate and venom against Jews is unrestrained among a large group of Arabs. Just reading the posts in HAARETZ online by certain posters, day after day, is evidence of this attitude. |
