To another poster: Let`s get real. There is no moral equivalent between the death of civilians who harbor rocket launchers in their homes or who function as human shields to protect such weapons from being destroyed, and the wanton murder by gunmen or by rockets of students in a school. The equivalent would be Israeli bombing of Palestinian schools for no other reason that to kill. And that just doesn`t happen.

In addition, while we can be outraged at the UN, we shouldn`t have any expectations. Countries that hate Israel and hate Jews have too much power there. Just look at the so-called human rights council.

Regarding world-wide protests of the attacks, they are a good idea and help focus at least some people on the reality of what is going on. And in free countries it lets our elected officials know we care and have a voice.
