First, Gaza is not occupied, period. That the WB is occupied is not relevant to Gaza for a couple of reasons. First, these two areas are not a state and second they are under the controlling authority of two different governments. But more importantly, any time a state is run by terrorists that target civilians in State #2, State #2 has every right to attack the terror state. Self defence is not only the first and foremost right in international law but in every domestic system in the world. Any lest you say that Hamas is not a terror government, it meets the indisputable definition of terror state, it targets civilians.
The only problem as I see it is that Israel has been far too restrained in dealing with the terrorists. |
