| No true democracy leaves its Supreme Court open to manipulation by political factions. Else justice has been set by the wayside in favor of political expediency and its entire legal system is no more than a joke. The duties, priviledges, and responsibilities of Israel`s Supremm Court, together with its limitations should be spelled out with great specificity in Israel`s constitution. If this is not so, then Israel can hardly call herself a democracy. |
