| Since neither side is going to defect in this interminable dilemma, the only near or middle term expectations are grim. The left shouts Israel is the villain, Jews are robbers, squatters, even worse: mutated Nazis. The right sounds just as asinine with its claims to propriety and piety in the face of covenants with the holy oneness. So this train wreck in a sandstorm will continue to unfold, inching step by step with unaccountable, unabated violence knowing no bounds, observing no strictures of honor, humane wisdom or anything that appears to be a solution, acting out endless fear and rage that will kill and maim until the body counts become uncountable, resembling a protracted version of WW1 with endless streams of cannon fodder, uselessly poured into an unfathomably deep grave. In fact the whole mess has become a macabre global spectator event offering mindless diversion for unrepentant worshipers of Mars, taking center stage for a world going madder and madder each passing day. |
