Higher shekel compared to lower dollar is good. This means Israel will be able to import more american goods (and weapons?) due to the lower prices.
However, it`s bad for israeli exports, especially to china, Africa, Ausralia and India, who`s currencies have all dropped along with the dollar. Israel won`t be able to export as much as it used to. With europe it should stay more or less the same since the euro is on a higher rise than the shekel. Want advice? invest in gold, within the short-run, it`s gonna boom like mad. |
