In a word: yes.
Sharon told them that we were pulling out of Gaza and that within months we would pull the settlers out of the West Bank.
You would have thought that with all the West Bank as a carrot they would have restrained themselves for a few months and behaved quietly. Not a bit of it: they went right on proving the case that it would be to Israel`s huge disadvantage to have them in charge in the West Bank. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot! |
