As a Gentile who has lived and worked in the Mideast and with many Jewish friends of Iraq and Iranian origin, as well as among European refugees, I am always surprised that discussion about Jews of the world and of Israel seem to continually/habitually overlook the existence of Arab Jews of the Mideast and north Africa. See reference in article to Jews "in Israel, in the United States and in the former Soviet Union, in France and in Argentina" -- no mention of "Arab Jews!" (signed) An American observer.
