I know someone who personally works in this arena (drug counseling). This has been going on for years. And the monsters in Hizbolla have to a degree had their successes.
Since the fist intifada there has been an organized and far-reaching campaign by Hizbolla and perhaps other Arab organizations to smuggle narcotics into Israel with the aim of making Israelis Junkies. They typically prey on the innocent, usually youngsters, often religious children in the territories, and start by offering "candies".
THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS.
Haaretz, don`t take my words for granted. I ask Haaretz to look deeply into this matter. The Israeli anti-drug organizations and police narcotics units are very aware of the facts. PLEASE EXPOSE AND EXPAND THIS STORY. It is a travesty that this extremely concerning matter has not been exposed by the "radar" of the Israeli media. It is no less damaging to Israel than the plight of Sderot and Ashkelon and needs urgent exposure. |
