| See if you three can finally figure this out. Israel never fought the Palestinians in 1967. They were challenged by both Egypt and Jordan, the Occupiers for 19 years of Gaza and the West Bank respectively. They defeated those nations` armies; not the Palestinians and they ended up in charge of what those defeated nations were occupying. Qatar and the Emirates; open channels with Egypt, regular discussions with Jordan and Egypt and non-HizbAllah Lebanon as well as back channel contact even with the Saudis is what is strengthening day by day. Sadly, those "Palestinians" you adore so much and feel so sorry for seem to have chosen to align more with Iran and Syria and you`re seeing the signs of moderate Arabs making a choice. It will continue to disappoint and anger you because, as idealogues, you just can`t countenance what`s happening. But it IS happening and you`re powerless to do much more than keep bleating your displeasure. |
