If it`s not acceptablee for people to meet with the `violently anti-Israel` Hamas then surely the violently anti-Palestinian (and Lebanese civilian) IDF should also be shunned??. Both sides target civilians - with the headcount showing the IDF is significantly better at it than anyone else in the region.
And Carter`s characterisation of Israel`s apartheid policies is one that is accepted by many - including Ronnie Kasril a South African government minister and one time leader of the ANC in its struggle for liberation. He`s said the Palestinians are treated worse than black South Africans were.
