| Maybe you forgot 20% interest rates, rampant inflation, the overthrow of the Shah (which was directly Carter`s fault when he vetoed US aid to Iranian generals who wanted to take over to prevent Khomeini`s taking power), the Iranian hostage crisis, his ridiculous speech about what was wrong with America was a "malaise" and a myriad of other missteps. Whatever he did AFTER he was president, and whatever you think of the current president, the fact remains, as historians will confirm, he was definitely among the worst presidents the US has had. And personally, I find his preaching to Israel extraordinarily offensive. Would this clown go meet with Osama bin Laden? Meshal is Israel`s bin Laden. Outrageous. |
