| America and Israel have a policy of not talking to their adversaries. At the same time, both nations claim to seek peace. A person of average intelligence or above might notice that the positions of America and Israel are at odds with honesty, logic, and reality. So ingrained is this policy of avoiding peace that the Israeli and American leadership tend to despise any person who would talk to their adversaries, as if to promote peace and understanding. Perhaps it is shame or a guilty conscience, because it is easy to see that the positions of America and Israel regarding peace are unexplainable. What can be lost by talk? |
