It was good to read an article by a kindred spirit. Peace Now always finds itself in a similar position. Criticism , in the eyes of most traditional zionist views in the Diaspora, indicates that one is a "self-hating Jew" or a supporter of Israel`s enemies.
I am sure that if all Jews took an objective look at the situation, they would have to admit that the present policies cannot be seen as 100% effective, or even good for the Jews. But such is the power of indoctrination. We Jews who wish Israel well, and love it, cannot simply salute and fall into line. To do so is to betray Israel. |
