| Thank you for your article Paul. It is about time we start realizing that supporting Israel and criticizing some of its policies is not a contradiction. In order to ensure a safe state which is both Jewish and democratic we need to be able to criticize when appropriate. The situation in the West Bank and the continued expansion of settlements needs to be addressed. If it doesnt change, soon we will have a minority Jewish population in teh country, and then the result is either a non-Jewish state or a non-democratic one...both are unnacceptable! If we really support Israel and are concerned with its continuity, then its time we stop all the pc bullshit, and start criticizing policies that are contradictory to the future we all want! |
