| Observing what is going on in Israel I cannot help but wondering who has the say in that governement. The PM who agreed to freeze all settlement construction or the minister in charge of that department ? Israel seems to have no intention to give back the occupied Westbank to the Palestinians. All talks from Jerusalem to Annapolis and back to Jerusamen lead nowhere. Israel considers the Westbank to be a sort of `Wild East` as the Wild West was for the Cowboys in America. Despite all understandable security concerns and a lot of sympathy for Israel, I am convinced Israel will eventuall loose support from allies and friends and find itself more isolated than ever before. At war with all neighbours and itself. Israel`s policy has already lost all credibility and Hamas is advancing slowly but surely. A lost great opportunity for the sake of a few houses ... |
