Israel has been there and done what King Abdullah has requested and has swollen, bitten hands to prove it.
He should know better than to recommend this futile action when dealing with terrorists as this is not the strategy he pursued with the PLO back in September 1970 when they entrenched themselves in Jordan and tried to take over the country as a base to attack Israel from.
Instead Abdullah unleashed Black September on Arafat and his hordes, and poor, defenceless Lebanon later paid for the PLO`s future antics there. |
