After last years Lebanon confrontation, the Olmert Government presented the posting of Unifil troops along the South of Lebabnon as a great achievement that will bring peace and control to that area. Everybody knows that Unifill troops are impotent and and shy away always from confrontations (Rwanda, Kosovo,Sudan etc.)
So why is Israel now amazed at Unifill inaction?
The lesson to be learn again and again that Israel better not rely on anybody for help!! Are you listening Olmert? No foreign buffer troops in Gaza or West Bank. When are you people going to finally get it? |
