| In 1933 the danger for the Jewish community clearly came from OUTSIDE, namely from an absolutely crazy (Nazi) ideology, whose aim was to exterminate the Jewish people from this planet. However, the biggest danger for the Jewish community as well as the state of Israel today comes from the INSIDE, namely from the ideology of Zionism. Its original purpose, namely to build a home in Palestine for the Jewish people was (and still is today) a very justified one. Unfortunately, one of the other thesis of Zionism, namely to expand that Jewish home at almost any costs, is a very disastrous one, and both the Israeli people and the Diaspora are currently paying a tremendous price for it. And I`m afraid if we won`t see rather soon some critical self-reflection happening within the Jewish community on that matter, things will only go from bad to worse in the future..... |
