| Most people in the west today live lives short on drama which is why re-enactment has become such a big thing. People dress up as soldiers to feel some of the drama of being a real soldier (without of course, any of the pain, tragedy, violence and death). Like this guy they make huge efforts to get their costume historically accurate and get upset if it`s not, if the 3 should have a round top instead of a flat top. The safe academic can never, fortunately, know what his father went through and he should have listened to his father who knows best and did not want his son doing this. |
