Bahrain is a TINY country that is only twice the size of Manhattan. It only has 600,000 people with only 400,000 of them being Bahraini nationals. So for a country that has a tiny population with a muslim majority, 7 Jewish families is a sizable number.
For your information, these 7 Jewish families have their own cemetary. Have you heard religion in the US which has 7 families as its constituents have their own cemetary? They also have their own synagogue, for 7 families only. There is also a Jewish member of parliment.
What does traditional Jewish clothing mean? These people are ARAB JEWS so they dress like Arabs. Arab muslims dress like Arabs. Arab christians dress like Arabs and Arab jews dress like Arabs. This is similar to Christian Americans dressing like Americans and Jewish Americans dressing like Americans and Athiest Americans dressing like Americans. |
