| I`ve ceased to expect any thanks from people like you for Britain standing up to Hitler at a time when the US was happy to stay out of the war altogether, but at least look at yourself. You`re complaining that the RAF didn`t divert bombers from thumping the German army and German industry to attack the Auschiwtz railway lines. I think in retrospect everyone agrees that was a mistake, but that is in retrospect, with full knowledge of Auschwitz, not with the few reports (detailed but for all the Allies knew, exaggerated) that the Allies had at the time. Plus, if you`re that upset why aren`t you accusing the US government and the USAF of anti-semitism? Has it escaped your notice that the US had a huge bomber fleet in Europe at the time? Or do you only like kicking Brits? Think the neighbours might be upset if you start attacking the US? |
