Yoav Stern, Haaretz Correspondent and Haaretz Service: Report: Hezbollah can intercept calls in Lebanon thanks to Iran
Talkback
Title:The Government of Lebanon
Name:Garba
City: KatsinaState:
What most people fail to understand is that there is no government in Lebanon. And, the people who say they are in charge in Lebanon are considered as illegitimate by most Lebanese. In every society if a govt. fails to execute it`s duty to serve and protect it`s people an entity will emerge to take over that responsibility. When Israel attacks again, the Lebanese will be looking to Hezbollah and not their army to protect them. In order to do so, hezbollah has to have a system in place to communicate effectively. After all, they are fighting a well organized, sophisticated fully equipped IDF. Do you expect them to use pigeons?

And if you know Lebanon and you know Hmadeh and Jumblatt, you would take everything they say and divide it by a factor of 100. They are politicians who want to stay in the spotlight. Jumblatt specially was a darling of the Syrians and he asked the Iranians for a billion dollars to help them setup an Iranian satellite state. When they refused he turned Yankee.
