The opening statement of the Council of Ministers of Lebanon`s 69th govnt (led by Siniora) (before the government lost its mandate because it violated the constitution) says: "this is the statement of the maintenance of Lebanon`s courageous Resistance". It goes on : "the government believes that the Resistance is a true and natural expression of the national RIGHTS of the Lebanese people in LIBERATING their land and DEFENDING their dignity in the face of the aggressions and threats and greed of `Israel`, and WORKING on the liberation of Lebanese territory."
The U.S and its puppets can`t have their cake and eat it too. Do they consider the 69th government illegal from its onset ? If so, then the current government is also illegal and new elections should be held. If the government was not illegal the minute it was born, then the U.S & puppets are recognizing the right of the Resistance to do anything in its power to defend Lebanon and restore Lebanese sovereignty over occupied lands. |
