| The lovely, perfect, clean Swiss hold the awful distinction of having profited enormously and without shame, from both the Nazis and their Jewish victims. They stole the assets each had placed in their care. That was Swiss neutrality in its finest hour. I suspect that President Peres would have included the Swiss President on his list of invited, had Helvetia ever shown even a modicum of neutral fairness towards Israel`s position in the Middle East conflict. Rather, Switzerland has displayed a fully one-sided pro Arab/pro-Islam stance. The Swiss can hide behind their perfect flower boxes and delightful boulevards and their so-called neutrality but kudos to Israel for saying "you are NOT a friend and we don`t want you at our party". It`s easy to say you talk to all sides. It`s much harder to do that from any position of honor, if you`re duplicitous Switzerland. |
