From 1919 Balfour declaration up to 1948 creation of modern days Israel and up to 1982 Israel was led by political giants Haim Weizman,Ben Gurion,Sharet,Golda Meir,Rabin and Begin.Those were world class leaders and statesmen.Yet,none of their children could step in their shoes and lead the second phase of Israeli progress.Ben Gurions son Amos became a hihgh ranking police chief and then faded away in obscurity.Eshkols kids nowhere to be seen. Golda Meirs kids nowhere to be seen in political fields.Benjamin Begin tried and faded and went back to work as a geologist in the Israeli Geolocal Survey.The children of the second tear leaders like,Sharon,Olmert(He was Irguns Chief of Staff)seemed to get bogged down with little success and some even in criminal inpropriaties.Omri Sharon is in jail. Rabins daughter was a law level minister and retired from Politics.Yael Dayan was MK and now Deputy Mayor of TA.
