| They say that every cloud has a silver lining. The very dark cloud that was the holocaust seems to have a solid gold lining in Israel. In fact, it led directly to the creation of Israel. In addition to this, apparently some Israelis have a perception that generations of Germans should subordinate their own interest for that of Israel. Certainly this is also the case for America, even though America never even had a holocaust. You wouldn`t know it to see some of the anti-American posts in todays talkback, condemning America for having Jewish blood on its hands. Oh well, maybe we should humor the Israelis as we have been. Too bad for them that not every nation is so pliable and easy to bring to heel. |
