| The number of Hamas "gunmen" has been estimated by various Israeli sources to be between 10,000 and 50,000. Whichever number is closer, one thing is clear. Hamas is not going to run out of "gunmen" anytime soon. On any given day there are never more than a handful engaged in operations against Israel. It would seem that the larger problem would be to keep their members involved and interested since there are so many that are not involved in operations against Israel. |
