| Israel is not an apartheid state but all other arab countries in middle east are. Muslims in Israel enjoy more freedoms than in any-other mid-east country. In Israel arabs have the right to free speech and conscience, the right to vote in fair elections and checks on parliamentary power, women`s rights, gay rights, right to a fair trial an appeal, etc. And they do not have to join the military but enjoy its protections. Jews and Christians have none of these freedoms in arab countries, and in fact are subjugates, unable to own land and businesses. Jews and Christians are not allowed to build homes that are taller than that of muslims, are not allowed to build Churches and Synagogues. Are unable to get health care. And in fact are often killed or imprisoned for practicing a faith other than islam. Those who think Israel is an apartheid state are ignorant of what apartheid means, or just ignorant. |
