Actually it has everything to do with those people whom you correctly described.
They are the ones who harrass Palestinians and destroy their property as the IDF stand by watching; they are the ones who strut around the West Bank carrying assault rifles; they are the ones for whom this "curfew" is being carried out.
The settlements are actually a great miscalculation on Israel`s part. The settlers consider themselves apart from Israel`s government and have taken on a life of their own...I doubt Israel will ever be able to remove them now as part of any peace agreement, although it says it can... |
