why state funded...so the left can insist on also funding mosques?...why not give those funds back to taxpayers[maybe as vouchers] and let them pay directly or better yet just cut taxes and let the synagoues be funded voluntarily as abroad where the poor pay less and the synagogues offer many sevices etc. an observant jew should not be forced to fund reform or conservative or even a mosque!
