| After the recent war in Lebanon, Israel should do whatever it can to mend relations with the people of Lebanon. Even if politics would not allow this aid to be public I would hope that Israel would contact the majority government in Lebanon and offer any assistance they are willing to take. The current government in Lebanon offers the best chance for Israeli-Lebanese peace in decades. It would be a big shame it such an opportunity for peace is lost. |
