| I think that if someone sincerely wants to become a Jew, because they are marrying one or for spiritual reasons, more power to them. I welcome all converts. I just don`t think we should be actively proselytizing. That is one thing Judaism has over the other major religions...we don`t force our religion on anyone. Let`s face it, many many people want to feel like they are part of the Jewish people, with our wonderful heritage, history, and contributions to humanity, but without doing any of the real work. We should be focusing on strengthening our Jewish identity among Jews! |
