As long as a bunch of hypocrits calling themselve patriots like the Chamouns, Geagea, Gemayels, Joumblats, Hariris, Karame, Berri, Frangie ..... rule the country in order to fill up their pockets Lebanon will never be an independent country. The moment the French were kicked out by stone Lebanon was in the hands of theives.
If the Lebanese are smart they will ask France to come back and save them. The Puerto Ricans joined the USA and they are living in Peace. Stranded between stronger neighbours like Syria and Israel, weak and multi religious Lebanon cannot survive unless it is governed by a civilized strong power.
It is unfortunate, but this is the reality. Every 15 to 25 years Lebanon will be in turmoil. The poor people will suffer to fill up the pocket of the greedy leaders. |
