In `Great War for Civilization-Conquest of the Middle East`, Fisk describes a scene which reminds me of this little freak show. A starving Iraqi father, having learned of his child`s death, proceeds to jump up and down hysterically in a pool of sewage. Not far away, UN agency staff were dining on the best food Iraq could offer under the sanctions: Busy stuffing their faces on fine cuisine while 1.5 milion Iraqis were dying of starvation.
Not ONE of those attending has a shred of descency. Children, regardless of religion and race, are still being murdered here. and it goes on, like a silent scream. And just a short distance away, `leaders`, who could have made a genuine difference, are busy stuffing their filthy traps. I highly recommomend a giant Pretzel for every one of them. |
