Mr. Fayyad, Israel came about sixty years ago based on a UN resolution and the recognition of the entire international community of the right of the Jewish people to have its own nation-state in its historic homeland.
Mr. Fayyad, you could have had a state at that time as well but your leaders decided to extinct the possibility of Israel`s coming about and in the process cleanse the entire country of any Jewish existence, any!
I am glad we managed to overcome your forces and to have established our own nation-state, a renewal of our sovreignty over the Land, us of course being a nearly 4,000 year old people whose affinity to this Land has been constant all of these years.
Hence we celebrate our independence, and if you don`t like it and tell us not to do so, that is only a reflection in our view of what your real intention still is: To wipe the Jewish state of Israel off the map. |
