| The law is not aimed at stifling expression, but to curb defamation and libel, which is free-for-all in certain forums. it becomes especially relevant since the number of paid-talkbackers is rising. it has no clauses about censoring any expression but unsupported, ad-hominem attacks. and Ivar, we did have a very well-publicised case of forum-based defamation, which brought termination of employment (an Ad exec who wrote posts about former clients). In any case, I do not believe this can stand our supreme court. |
