No one in the USA expects Native Americans to celebrate Thanksgiving, Columbus Day or the 4th of July. Those are days of mourning for the native population who will never cease to regard their dispossession as a catastrophe. Yet many Native Americans serve as heros in our armed forces.
Only arrogant bigots like Linni would condition a peace agreement on dehumanizing the dispossessed Palestinains. You`ve taken their land, don`t try to destroy their minds and their souls or you will never have peace. For native Palestinians, Israeli independence will always be their Nakba. Get over it! |
