The headline is incorrect and dangerously misleading and the first paragraph captures Livni`s logic completely backwards. The point of this section of Livni`s speech, which I heard in person at the conference, was that Palestinians will only be able to move past commemorating the Nakba once they have established and can celebrate an independent Palestinian state.
