| I fully agree with you. I live since almost 20 years in the Middle East, mostly among Arabs, and have never come across such a nonsense the like of which #1 "Genuine" tries to spread here. The opposite is the case: a friendly curiosity towards the foreigner is dominant. I have observed this in different country from people with different creeds. They don`t have any problem coming into and having contacts with foreigners ON THE SAME EYE LEVEL. And naturally my statement excludes all fanatics from ALL sides - be they jewish, moslems and/or christians. |
