Imagine if Tijuana was engaged in a brutal occupation of San Diego for the past 41 years and had created an apartheid regime in southern California, and that forces from Tijuana regularly entered San Diego and carried out horrific acts of violence and mayhem, killing innocent civilians, arresting and torturing scores of people and demolishing homes.
Seriously though, I am dismayed by efforts to "put yourself in Israeli shoes" while at the same time a relentless campaign of dehumanization is conducted against the Palestinians, whose position we are never asked to consider. |
