| Hopefully if Obama gets into the White House his term will signal a more balanced Middle Eastern policy. No more blank cheques for Israel - financially, militarily or diplomatically. Maybe then Israel will reconsider actions such as the illegal settlements, the blockade of Gaza and the IDF`s penchant for targeting civilian populations and infrastructure. All of which makes peace harder to achieve and play into the hands of extremists on all sides. |
