Of course there is evidence, although we may not have hard, glaring proof at the moment. Iran for years has had many henchmen to do their work for them (i.e. Hezbollah), and they will continue to work in the shadows at least for a while. Chances are when the U.S. forces leave the area (Iraq and Afganistan both border Iran), thats when they will come out in the open.
