| No matter if it started with a naval blockade or by bombing their reactor/centifuges, any action would expand the fight throughout both Iran and southern Iraq. Iran already has great influence in Iraq. They would start shooting rockets from both Iraqi and Iranian territory into Allied troop concentrations, as they did against Saddam for 10 years. As one of the modern founders of the suicide bomber phenomenon, Iran would cause a lot of problems for the Iraq "withdrawl." The US would quickly learn that it needed to invade Iran in order to `drain the swamp.` There is no way Bush would hamstring McCain`s election hopes to that degree prior to leaving office.
