Israel must choose between (1) attacking Iran (may succeed, maybe not) and in return being hit with Iranian missiles carrying strong but conventional explosives- and yes, some Israelis will die, or (2) allowing Iran to develop nuclear capacity, which will most likely result in a cold war, but could (small possibility) someday result in Israel`s destruction, either through a "hot war" or by Iran allowing the missiles to come into the hands of others.
Those are the choices. Let`s not pretend an attack is "risk free". Nor that failing to attack is "risk free". Nobody has a crystal ball as to what to do.
Oh, and scr@w Hezbollah- they can`t invade Israel, they just run in and out of their own foxholes and throw massive parades to celebrate. Totally over-rated as a military threat. |
