line, and if the Syrians therefore in essence mislead the public in this regard, why should we trust them? And if Israel did committ to a retreat to the 4 June `67, why should Olmert and his government expect us, Israelis, to approve this deal? In reality, if and when Israel ever retreat, it will do so after a very long cooling off period of decades and that will only be to the official international line and not to the 4 June `67 line, however the Syrian would wish to call it in order to mislead their public.
