| J-Street wants the US to pressure Israel to endanger its security "for its own good". This is NOT being pro-Israel. Also, they are confusing traditional "liberal" Jewish attitudes on domestic American policy as automatically meaning support for J-Street`s demands for pressure on Israel against its interests. I am a "right-wing, Orthodox" Israeli and I OPPOSED much of the neo-con foreign policy platforms including the US invasion of Iraq. Most "right-wing" Israelis I know agree with me. I also don`t view Bush as "the best friend Israel ever had". Thus, J-Street`s claims that since most American Jews don`t support Bush and his policies, they are supporters of J-Street is FALSE!. |
